Moments like these...

...are my favorite kind of moments in motherhood.

Happy Easter!

Try #2 of visiting the easter bunny went much better. Day one I don't think the twins even made it within 5 feet of Mr. easter bunny. But who can blame them? When I said bunny, they were thinking bunny, cute little furry bunny that I can hold in my lap kind of bunny. Not ginormous, fully clothed, bunny whose eyes are as big as my head, and walks on 2 feet!

There may or may not have been an ice cream bribe to get this photo...

Finley's new motorcycle

Grandpa Cory gave Finley a rocking motorcycle, hand made by him, for Christmas. We only got to see a glimpse of what it would look like at Christmas, because it wasn't complete yet. I was in absolute awe when I saw the finished motorcyle last week when Rachel brought it over! It was so much more than I could've imagined! So much detail, I can't even imagine how many hours went into it. Tiffany's Mother in law painted it, and did an amazing job as well!

Finley and Scout were both super excited about it.

My dad has always been creative, and comes up with some amazing projects. He doesn't ever use a pattern, he just gets an idea in his mind and goes with it. Growing up he always had some cool project he was working on. He made canoes, a speedboat, a real working roller coaster and a half pipe in our backyard, a racetrack, and a hot tub among other things. I remember a little cradle and benches he made for our dolls. And the cabinetry work him and my brother do is just beautiful.

And now he is sharing that talent with his grandkids. Malichi got a rocking horse when he was little, Kinzie got a dollhouse, Scout got a rocking chair, and Finley, the rocking motorcyle.

They will be gifts that we will forever cherish.

Love this boy.

He gives the best kisses. Ever.
